In South Africa's informal trades market, trust is broken. Clients pay upfront and get scammed. Buildbuggys do the work and never get paid. There's no accountability, no reviews, and no way to resolve disputes fairly. Everyone loses — except the scammers.
We built Buildbuggy to fix this. By holding payments in protected payment and only releasing them when the job is confirmed done, we protect both sides. Buildbuggys get paid reliably. Clients get accountability. And the whole thing is transparent.

How Buildbuggy works

Payment is held in protected payment via Paystack. The Buildbuggy does the work, knowing the funds are secured.

The client confirms completion and funds are released to the Buildbuggy. Both parties leave reviews.
